The Flint Hills Regional Council: A Model for Regional Cooperation in the 21st Century
The Flint Hills Regional Council (FHRC) has been launched to address the common opportunities and threats facing the central Flint Hills of Kansas -- Geary, Morris, Riley and Pottawatomie counties and many of the municipalities in the region, including Clay Center, Council Grove, Junction City, Manhattan and Wamego.

City of Glendale, AZ Innovate Team
Municipalities’ continiue to make difficult decisions as it relates to their financial situation and Glendale is no different. Ed Beasley, Glendale City Manager, launched Innovate in December 2008. Since then, the city has benefited from the Innovate Team which has saved the city money, resources, the environment and improved quality of life.
